The Davina McCall fronted series sees a series of single parents arrive at a retreat in order to give love another go, while their children are watching their every move from nearby. It has been hailed as ‘middle-aged Love Island ’, in reference to ITV’s dating show centring on beautiful young people.
However, fans of the new series think the show has taken their Love Island influence too far this year, with this year's group of contestants all good looking and no plus-size body types in sight. “Where are the normal looking mums and dads?” posted one after watching the show. “None of my friends look like that in their 50’s!
