The annual Murphia List — a who’s who of the Irish players in London’s food and drink scene — is a great resource for keeping tabs on who’s doing what in the UK capital. The 2025 list, which was released this week, includes 13 new entries and one Rising Star, bringing to 66 the number featured. Hot Dinners — the restaurant news and review site founded in 2010 by brother-and-sister team Gavin and Catherine Hanly, whose parents are Irish — publishes the list in partnership with Bord Bia.

As you have to be born on the island of Ireland to qualify, the Hanly siblings are not eligible — a pity, given the huge influence Hot Dinners wields in the UK..
