Vadodara: Panigate police have filed a complaint against three unidentified men for the murder of one Piyush Thakore in the city. Thakore had been assaulted by the trio on Thursday and was being treated at SSG Hospital but succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday. Investigators said that on Aug 1, Thakore and others were dancing in the Dasha Ma procession near Gadhada Market in the old city.
His hand accidentally touched a man passing by. The latter then abused Thakore and began assaulting him. Two others at the spot also began to assault him.
Thakore suffered injuries to his head in the assault and his friend got him admitted to SSG Hospital. Further investion is on.
