Muntz, who is only 24 years old, was a standout player in the final and was awarded the Player of the Tournament for his exceptional contributions. Despite having limited experience with only nine Tests under his belt, Muntz displayed great composure throughout the game.

His performance included seven successful kicks at goal, 11 carries, and 10 tackles, showcasing his versatility and influence on the field. Muntz played a crucial role in his team’s late scoring spree, helping them secure the win in a dominant fashion. In a post-match interview with RugbyPass media, Muntz credited the team’s focus on fitness and their ability to close out games as key factors in their success.

He acknowledged that in the past, they were known as a team that struggled to maintain their performance in the second half, but their dedication to improving their fitness levels has paid off . “So, the last couple of years, certainly since when I’ve been in the team there’s been a real focus on our fitness; being able to close games,” he said. “I think it showed the fruits of that labour that we’ve been putting in over the last couple of years.
