Kenyan YouTuber Mungai Eve has shared that her ex-boyfriend, Director Trevor, firing her came as a surprise. Although their relationship had become rocky toward the end, she never anticipated losing her job. In an interview with Commentator 254, Mungai Eve explained, “I exited the relationship in November 2022, but you only found out about it in January/February 2024, when I was let go.

I was caught off guard by the firing while I was on vacation in Zanzibar. The channel had amassed over 750,000 subscribers and featured more than 2,353 videos since its launch on January 2, 2020. When a fan asked Trevor if he would continue working with Eve, he replied, “No, her services are no longer needed across the following platforms: YouTube with 754K subscribers, Instagram with 104K followers, and Facebook with 874K followers.
