A heartbroken mum has told how she had an emergency Caesarean section just so her daughter could meet her dad before he died. Bethany Turner's partner George Fenlon was knocked unconscious when he was brutally attacked outside a nightclub in Blackpool. His head injuries were so serious that he never pulled through and died three months after the horror punching spree carried out by his killer Rhys Jones , from Cannock .

But once medics knew there was nothing more they could do for Mr Fenlon, his partner faced an agonising decision. She decided to have an emergency C-section and gave birth to their daughter just two weeks before her partner died. Within hours of her birth, the tot laid under her dad's arm as he lay hooked up to machines.

She named her daughter Clara Georgia, giving her the middle name Georgia in honour of her dad. Her comments came as Jones was locked up for manslaughter yesterday (Friday, July 27).
