PEOPLE living in an area of Flintshire say they have been "missed off" placement in a GP catchment area. People living on Ewart Street and North Street in Saltney Ferry say they are unable to register with a doctor's practice. Jordan Wynne, who lives on Ewart Street, has faced issues with getting her newborn baby, Stormi, registered anywhere.

Alarmingly, Stormi, just weeks old, has been in hospital due to an eye infection. Jordan, aged 31, said: "I have tried everywhere and nowhere in Flintshire will accept her. I've been registered with the Saltney Surgery my whole life, as has my eldest daughter, but they said Stormi lives outside the catchment area.

I've no idea when this changed but as a mum I feel helpless that I cannot find my daughter a GP. This part of Saltney Ferry is a bit out of the way, we feel we're often forgotten about. It's like we're in the no man's land catchment area.
