It’s pretty universally acknowledged that if there’s one piece every wardrobe needs, it’s a little black dress. I found one earlier this year for under £30 at Marks and Spencer, and it’s finally come back into stock after months of being sold out. I first tried on the Asymmetric Ruched Midaxi Bodycon Dress back in April.
They didn’t have my usual size 10 available in store, and my options for a try on were either a size six or a size 14, so seeing as the dress was stretchy, I opted for the six just to see the shape and fit. I haven’t fit into a size six item of clothing since circa 2016, so I was in utter disbelief that not only did I manage to get it on without the fear of needing to call upon a shop assistant to physically cut me out of it, but - and I don’t often toot my own horn like this - it looked incredible. And after much patience and a lot of checking the website, I finally snagged one before it sold out again. But now, it’s back , and even has a new leopard print version that’s heading straight in my basket.
