Marks and Spencer customers have been singing the praises of a new range of canned drinks, as the retailer announces the launch of its latest Marksologist canned cocktail flavour. In anticipation of National Tequila Day on Wednesday, July 24, M&S has unveiled the high-street's first-ever Blood Orange Margarita in a can. Crafted with top-notch tequila, blood orange liqueur, lime, agave and blood orange juice, it's ready to be enjoyed straight from the can.

no need for ice, a cocktail shaker, or glassware. The debut of the new M&S Marksologist Blood Orange Margarita (£3.50) follows M&S's discovery that tequila cocktails are definitely trending, with sales of its standard canned Margarita increasing by 20 per cent week-on-week when it was launched earlier this year in January.

Last year, M&S also witnessed tequila sales shift into double-digit growth each month surpassing gin or rum for the first time. The high street retailer’s drinks collection starts from just £2.50 for the standard M&S Margarita .

Cocktail fans will also find the M&S Marksologist Pink Grapefruit Paloma for £3.50, M&S Marksologist Verdita Margarita (£18), and M&S Distilled Silver Tequila (£19), reports the Mirror . In a recent video posted on the brand's food Instagram account, comedian Tom Allen sampled some of the newest additions to the collection, including the Marksologist Blood Orange Margarita and Cherry Mai Tai.
