A new music festival is coming to Wales' capital with venues across the city hosting global artists over three weeks. Starting next month, Friday September 27 and finishing on October 20, gigs and other events will be taking place in Cardiff as part of the new Cardiff Music City Festival , with big names opening the event. Not only will new emerging Welsh artists be performing in concert halls and independent venues but big names from across the pond will be entertaining thousands of people in Cardiff.

In it's first year, this year the event plans to see 20,000 visitors attending the festival. Between gigs, visitors to Cardiff can enjoy talks, meet-ups, industry sessions, socials, pop-ups and a vinyl bar as well as exploring what Cardiff already has to offer.
