If you haven't already heard of , its a famous musical symphony for children, written in 1936 by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev. It introduces the individual instruments and highlights music keys that play a theme that represents each character from the story. The music has grown immensely popular over the decades, and its productions have been narrated by big names like Sir David Attenborough, Patrick Stewart, and David Bowie, among others.

The story follows Peter, who lives at his grandfather's home in a forest clearing. In the clearing, there are a host of animals, including a duck and a cat. However, a ferocious wolf soon comes out of the forest, and during the commotion, swallows the duck.

With the help of the bird, Peter catches the wolf by its tail and other hunters help Peter take the beast to the zoo. Other musical works that will be included in the concert are Strauss' , Vaughan Williams' and Saint-Saen's , all intertwined with the beautiful sounds of the orchestra. Sunday, 1 September 11.
