Following the first photos being revealed the other day, Warner Bros. Discovery has more shots from the vampire thriller “Salem’s Lot” based on Stephen King’s second novel. The shots, a mix of existing and new ones, include a first look at “Game of Thrones” alum Pilou Asbæk as the evil Richard Straker – the familiar and right-hand of the vampire Kurt Barlow.

Barlow’s hand appears in another, grasping the face of Father Callahan (John Benjamin Hickey). The actor playing Barlow remains under wraps. Straker was played by the legendary James Mason in Tobe Hooper’s 1979 TV adaptation of the work, whilst Donald Sutherland took on the part for the 2004 mini-series which also starred Rob Lowe.

The new take sees Lewis Pullman playing author Ben Mears, a man who returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot only to find it is slowly being taken over by a bloodthirsty vampire. Alfre Woodard, Bill Camp, William Sadler, Makenzie Leigh, Jordan Preston Carter, and Spencer Treat Clark also star. Veteran horror scribe Gary Dauberman wrote and directed the movie which James Wan produced.

The film is set to hit Max in October..
