Sophie Hammill, 31, from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, married partner Paul, 36, in a charming ceremony held at The Engine Shed in Wetherby in July. But the occasion could not be complete without a musical number which described their love story - performed directly by the bride herself.
Sophie and Paul met at work in their roles as ambulance staff in 2018, and the pair now share six children aged between eight months and 14 in a blended family. In December 2021, Paul proposed to Sophie at a restaurant in Wetherby, where they went on their first date - but little did the groom know he would be serenaded by his would-be wife at their wedding a stones throw away only three years later.
