According to news agency ANI, Mohanlal is suspected to have a ‘viral respiratory infection’.

His symptoms include ‘high-grade fever, breathing difficulties, and generalized myalgia (muscle pain)’. Fortunately, recent updates indicate that the actor’s health is improving. Hospital’s Official Statement Mohanlal has been admitted to Amrita Hospital.

The official statement from the hospital reads: “This is to certify that Mr Mohanlal, a 64-year-old male (MRD No. 1198168), has been examined. He is experiencing high-grade fever, breathing difficulty, and generalized myalgia.

He is suspected to have a viral respiratory infection. He has been advised to take medication, rest for five days, and avoid crowded places.” Recent reports suggest that the 64-year-old actor is now showing signs of recovery.

The news of his hospitalization has understandably caused concern among his fans and loved ones. Upcoming Work of Mohanlal Mohanlal’s directorial debut, Barroz, is now set for release on October 3. Originally announced in 2019, the 3D fantasy drama has faced several delays, with its release date previously scheduled for March.
