Pune: Speculations of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA from Junnar , Atul Benke , joining NCP (SCP) were further fuelled after he put up banners welcoming Sharad Pawar to his constituency on Sunday. He met the NCP (SCP) chief for the second time in a month on Sunday, during the latter’s visit to Otur to unveil statues of Shrikrishna Tambe and Lata Tambe, former MLAs of Junnar, and a statue of Vilas Tambe. The banners installed by Benke bore neither the photo of any NCP leader, including Ajit Pawar, nor the party symbol.
