The Gatineau Police Service said Joseph Curtis Telford was last seen leaving the Hull Hospital on rue Lionel-Émond in the Parc-de-la-Montagne district. He was supposed to leave the hospital using Paratransit, but did not use the service, a news release from police said.

Telford was described as a dark-skinned, English-speaking man standing five feet seven inches (170 centimetres) tall. He has black and gray hair and is partially bald. He also has a white beard and brown eyes.
