Miranda captured the hearts of the nation when it first aired back in 2009. The show followed socially awkward, thirty-something Miranda as she navigated her bizarre life. Viewers got to meet those closest to her in the show, who have gone on to carve out successful careers since the show ended.

Miranda Hart Miranda is the star of the show of her own name. She and the series managed to get three Royal Television Society awards, four British Comedy Awards and four BAFTA nominations. She then went on to bag a role in Call The Midwife as Camilla 'Chummy' Fortescue-Cholmondeley-Browne as well as Hollywood films including Spy and Emma.

Away from work. Miranda recently opened up about her mental health. Miranda wrote a book, titled I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest With You, as she admitted to having "acute anxiety" and "surprising challenges" over the last 10 years that she had kept private.

In 2018, she discussed depression in comedy, and said: "There’s a lot of talk about comedians being depressed and I think, in many cases, it’s absolutely true. I definitely have that side to my personality – naturally my glass is half-empty, so I make a conscious effort to keep the positive .
