MIRANDA Lambert has gushed over her husband Brendan after shutting down rumors they're headed for divorce. The country singer appeared on Jelly Roll 's wife Bunnie Xo's podcast, Dumb Blonde, where she revealed that she surprised her husband by including Dammit Randy, a song he co-wrote, on her album, Postcards From Texas. Miranda, 40, said on the show that the track is Brendan's first songwriting credit.

"We cut it in the studio, he wasn't there all day, he came in the afternoon," she said. "I was like, 'I wanna play you something.' The whole band knew he'd written it, so we're just staring at him.

.. and we pushed play," the singer recalled.

TEAMWORK Miranda and Brendan have actually collaborated on several songs, though Dammit Randy is the first sound she's released with Brendan as a co-writer.

The Wranglers singer told Bunnie Xo they collaborated on "probably four or five little tunes" in 2020, while in lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She went on to say that songwriter Jesse Frasure forced her husband to come into the studio with her after he made some offhanded jokes about writing music.
