SAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw Township man has received a probationary term and been ordered to pay a four-figure sum for threatening gun violence on those who would remove his errantly placed political signs. Saginaw County District Judge M. Randall Jurrens on Friday, Oct.

25, sentenced 50-year-old Andrew Leslie Reel to one year of probation, during which he must pay $1,035 in fines and costs. Reel must also forfeit a 9mm pistol and its associated ammunition and magazines. The judge further prohibited Reel from having contact with victim Thomas Roy or visiting Fashion Square Mall.
