This October, Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas is set to welcome a culinary sensation as Michelin-starred Chef Noom, renowned for his mastery in redefining Thai cuisine, arrives for an exclusive dining experience. Chef Noom, also known as Thaninthorn Chantrawan, has consistently earned a Michelin star for his Bangkok-based restaurant, Chim by Siam Wisdom. His culinary journey has taken him from Bangkok's vibrant kitchens to some of London’s most prestigious establishments, including Zuma, Roka, and Sketch.

After honing his European and molecular gastronomy skills, Chef Noom returned to Thailand to explore the rich heritage of Royal Thai cuisine. At Chim by Siam Wisdom, Chef Noom has meticulously revived historic Thai dishes with a modern flair, using the finest local ingredients to create unforgettable dining experiences. His signature dish, Tom Yum Plachon Bo-Larn, offers a reimagined version of the 19th-century tom yum soup, with delicate snakehead fish in a spicy red broth enriched by smoky homemade chili jam.

Housed in a century-old traditional Thai house, the restaurant has become a renowned destination for food enthusiasts, earning a Michelin star consistently from 2018 to 2023. From his appearances on “Iron Chef Thailand” to his pioneering work in the kitchen, Chef Noom’s dedication to combining traditional and contemporary culinary techniques has solidified his reputation as one of Thailand’s leading chefs. Now, for three nights only, Chef Noom will showcase.
