Under the guidance of Michelin-starred Chef Vineet Bhatia MBE, the restaurant offers a celebration of India’s diverse culinary traditions, stretching from Kashmir to Kerala and Goa to Bengal, all enhanced by Chef Bhatia’s innovative modern touch. The name “Ziya,” which stands for “splendour” and “shine,” reflects the restaurant’s commitment to outstanding dining experiences.

Chef Vineet Bhatia, a trailblazer in the culinary world, earned his Michelin star in 2001, becoming the first Indian-origin chef to be honored for Indian cuisine. An esteemed graduate of The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development, Chef Bhatia has been instrumental in launching acclaimed eateries in London, Switzerland, and the Middle East and has made notable appearances as a judge on Netflix’s The Final Table and Master Chef India. His mentorship extends to Ziya at The Oberoi, Mumbai, and Dhilli at The Oberoi, New Delhi, reinforcing his influence on India’s high-end culinary scene.

Designed by Architecture Discipline, Ziya at The Oberoi, Gurgaon, merges classical elegance with modern design, featuring lofty ceilings and a blend of steel and glass that reflects the hotel’s unique architecture. The entrance features a captivating display of fire-fused glass set against a backdrop of vintage timber patterns, welcoming guests into a sophisticated spa.
