Michael Mosley: BBC pays tribute to TV doctor in documentary Michael Mosley will appear in scenes filmed just before his sudden death, this evening. Channel 5 will air the first installment of the three-part series, Michael Mosley: Wonders of the Human Body , which will show some of the final scenes the TV doctor ever filmed. The late 67-year-old tragically died last year but put his own body under the microscope just weeks before.

The documentary will show him taking a close look at why we age, and how our bones break, as well as pioneering cancer treatments. Viewers will see the star undergoing experiments to test his own heart health, saliva production and how his body reacts when jumping in freezing waters. Announcing the news of the documentary, Channel 5 posted to X/Twitter to let fans know how to tune in.
