We all know that NBA legend Michael Jordan is worth an ungodly amount of money between his endorsements and investments - and he's not afraid to splash that cash either. He did exactly that on his new private jet. According to the Daily Mail, Jordan recently spent a whopping $70 million on a luxury private jet that featured a custom paint job.
Per the report, Jordan's jet is a Gulfstream 650ER, which advertises itself as "the farthest, fastest flight in business aviation history." It can seat up to 19 passengers plus its standard four-person flight crew. As for the paintjob, it has an Air Jordan logo on the tail along with an elephant-print design all around it.
Naturally, the tail number is customized too. The "N236MJ" refers to Jordan's No. 23 jersey, his six rings and his initials.
Fans on social media were stunned by how much Jordan went all out to customize his new jet: "Elephant print Gulfstream is insane.," one user wrote on X. Meg Oliphant/Getty Images "This has to be one of the coolest paint job on any jet," wrote another.
"Looking like it can pop flares and jam radar," a third remarked. The Air Man is truly the Air Man now. Related: Michael Jordan's New Net Worth Figure Is Jaw-Dropping.
