Michael Jackson 's last bodyguard has confessed that he feels stress played a huge part in the music legend's death. The King of Pop was just 50-years-old when he died on June 25, 2009, and today marks the the Thriller hitmaker's 66th birthday. His final bodyguard, who worked with him up until his shock death, has now claimed that Michael was 'frail' and highly stressed out in the weeks leading up to his passing.

Bodyguard Bill Whitfield has claimed that the child sexual abuse allegations made against the music legend caused him to become a shell of himself and put major stress on him as he was planning another tour just weeks before his shock death. Michael's death in 2009 was caused by a lethal combination of sedatives and propofol, an anesthetic, and it was ruled as a homicide. Celebrity bodyguard Bill first became Jackson's bodyguard in December 2006.

He landed the position shortly after Michael had been cleared of the shocking child abuse allegations. Opening up about what Michael was really like before his sad death, Bill said that when he first started working for the legendary singer, he wasn't sure whether or not to believe the allegations made against him. However, as soon as he got to know Michael, he was sure that they were all false and said that Michael seemed eternally sad.

"He was sad a lot. Things were different, he had just come off facing a couple of trials. Like everybody, I heard all the stories prior to working for him, so it would only be normal for me .
