Aeroméxico is steadily making its way back into the US leisure travel market and has introduced a new route, which will start late in the year, using the Boeing 737 MAX 8. The route offers nonstop service from Miami to Cancun. New leisure route According to Ishrion Aviation , Mexico’s flag carrier will launch a new daily flight between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Cancún International Airport (CUN) .

The route will kick off on December 19th, 2024, with the following scheduled: AM427 Miami to Cancun departing at 7:55 AM and arriving at 9:55 AM. AM426 Cancun to Miami departing at 11:10 AM and arriving at 1:05 PM. The flight will cover a straight line distance of 533 miles.

The trip from MIA to CUN will take roughly two hours, and the return trip will take slightly less than two hours due to favorable winds. The airline has chosen to operate the fuel-efficient Boeing 737 MAX 8 on the new route. The aircraft is equipped with 166 seats, split into 16 business class and 150 economy class seats.

The aircraft will fly from Mexico City to Miam.
