city for foodies, and San Francisco ranks second, a new study says. The two cities on opposite coasts take top honors among 180 cites compared by analysts at personal-finance website WalletHub. The cities were ranked based on “28 key indicators of foodie-friendliness,” including cost of groceries, affordability and accessibility of high-quality restaurants and number of food festivals per capita.
"Miami stands out as the top foodie city in America, thanks to its unbeatable combination of affordability, variety and quality,” says Chip Lupo, WalletHub’s writer and analyst. “It boasts the most 4.5-star-rated restaurants per capita, which provides locals and visitors access to gourmet experiences at reasonable prices.
