MG Motor Australia has slashed the price of the base MG 4 51 Excite to just $30,990 drive-away, undercutting the next most affordable electric vehicle (EV) by $4000. The drive-away price is available nationwide, which sees reductions of up to $10,425 depending on state and territory. MG says the reduced price will be offered from September 20 to October 31.

During this time, MG is also offering factory bonuses of $8000 on all other model year 2023 (MY23) MG 4 variants, and $5000 on MY24 models. These factory bonuses are being applied as a discount at the point of sale. Reduced prices are being offered on the MG 4 for a limited time.
