. Human I’m writing as a psychology student in response to extreme misogyny being treated as a form of terrorism under government plans outlined by home secretary Yvette Cooper (Metro, Mon). It’s being done in part because of the rise of online influencers such as Andrew Tate , who preach that women are men’s property and should remain at home.
Relaxing gender roles and letting boys and men enact universal human traits once deemed feminine (showing emotions, asking for help, cooperating with others etc) might help men be fully human and less likely to feel like wronged contenders for the ‘alpha’ position.
