There are more than 50 free tours to attend across Merseyside Heritage Week sees iconic buildings and landmarks open to the public for free tours exploring their premises. Taking place from Friday, September 6 to 15, the tours are completely free to attend. A large number of landmarks around Merseyside take part in Heritage Week every year.

Visitors are welcome to explore the depths of Williamson's Tunnels, enjoy the World of Glass museum, or spend the day wandering around Strawberry Fields. The tours offer an expert look into the history of these landmarks with professional guides on hand. Some places only open once a year so this may be your one chance to see what's inside buildings such as Hartley Hut on the Royal Albert Dock .
