Mercedes-Benz introduced the AMG C63 SE Performance in India on 12 November, marking the third and the last AMG model launched by the German luxury carmaker this year. Priced at an ex-showroom rate of ₹1.95 crore, the car is now available for bookings, with deliveries set to begin in April next year.
Additionally, Mercedes-Benz will offer training at the Nürburgring, allowing drivers to master the car’s handling on one of the world’s most renowned racetracks. The AMG C63 SE Performance boasts a cutting-edge hybrid powertrain, combining a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with a high-powered electric motor mounted on the rear axle.
Together, they deliver an astonishing 680 hp and 1020 Nm of torque, making this 4-cylinder engine the most powerful of its kind globally. The electric motor alone produces 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque, which, combined with Mercedes’ 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system and a 9-speed automatic transmission, enables the car to go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 280 kmph.
In addition to its power-focused features, the car includes eight driving modes, including “Race” and “Electric”, for a tailored driving experience, and offers an electric-only range of 13 km, supported by a 6.1 kWh battery pack and a 3.7 kW onboard charger.
