Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled six examples of the S-Class , due to a fault which can cause the luxury sedan to catch fire. “Due to a software issue in the Engine Control Unit (ECU), the main wiring harness may become exposed to increased engine temperatures and become damaged,” the company says in its recall notice. “As a result, the vehicle may experience loss of propulsion whilst driving.
