Saturday, August 24, 2024 Melbourne Park is set to become even more enticing with the arrival of St Andrews Beach Brewery, bringing the flavors and coastal charm of the Mornington Peninsula to one of Victoria’s premier sporting precincts. Supported by the Allan Labor Government, this new addition is poised to enhance the area’s appeal to both locals and tourists alike. Scheduled to open on Tuesday, 27 August, in the vibrant Garden Square, the brewery is a key component of the precinct’s ongoing development.
Minister for Tourism, Sport, and Major Events, Steve Dimopoulos, recently toured the new facility alongside Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust CEO John Harnden and St Andrews Beach Brewery Co-Founder Andrew Purchase. Their visit underscored the importance of the brewery in bolstering Melbourne’s reputation as a top destination for leisure and entertainment. Located within the modern CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park, which emerged as part of the Labor Government’s comprehensive Melbourne Park Redevelopment, the brewery will accommodate up to 350 guests.
With its combination of indoor and outdoor seating, the venue promises a versatile environment suitable for all seasons, making it an ideal spot for patrons year-round. What truly sets St Andrews Beach Brewery apart is its operational brewery on-site, allowing visitors to enjoy freshly crafted beers made right in the heart of Melbourne Park.
