As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prepare to jet off to Colombia as part of their second international tour of the year, the couple will no doubt be finalising their packing lists and itineraries for a jam-packed few days in the South American country. The trip, which follows on from their successful Nigeria tour earlier this year, will see the couple visit three cities, Bogotá, Cartagena and Cali as they rub shoulders with locals and officials alike during the exciting trip overseas. Yet while Colombia may not be on everyone's traditional holiday bucket-list, the thriving country is no stranger to welcoming royals, with King Charles, Queen Camilla and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh all having previously graced the country in recent years.

In fact, King Charles and Queen Camilla were once dubbed the “most senior royals” to ever have visited the Latin American nation when they stopped in Colombia during their 2014 tour.
