Leslie is very nervous while meeting new people and encountering new things.
Unfortunately, her trepidation sometimes means she will bark at people she doesn’t know, which in turn makes people shy away from her. Thankfully, the trainers at Pasadena Humane have been working with her to build her confidence, and they’ve seen her start to show off her true personality much more clearly. Leslie is a very smart and easy-to-train dog.
She knows quite a few training cues like “sit,” “down” and “shake.” She will even “play dead” and pretty much anything else you try to teach her. With a smart dog like Leslie, the sky is the limit! Leslie also bonds very quickly with everyo.
