Anmol, an impressive buffalo from Haryana weighing in at 1500 kilograms, has captured national attention with its astounding valuation of Rs 23 crore. Showcased at major agricultural events like the Pushkar Mela and the All-India Farmers' Fair in Meerut, Anmol has quickly become a spectacle in India’s farming community. Known for its size, pedigree, and breeding potential, Anmol’s high demand has positioned it as an icon in animal husbandry , a TOI report stated.

Premium Diet and Care for India’s Most Valuable Buffalo Maintaining a healthy lifestyle for Anmol is no small expense. Around Rs 1500 is spent daily on Anmol’s diet, which consists of high-nutrient foods. Each day, this includes 250 grams of almonds, 4 kilograms of pomegranates, 30 bananas, 5 kilograms of milk, and 20 eggs.

Supplemented with oil cake, green fodder, ghee, soybeans, and corn, this specialized diet supports the buffalo’s substantial growth and stamina. In addition to the dietary regimen, Anmol’s health is meticulously maintained through regular grooming. The buffalo receives two daily baths using a mixture of almond and mustard oils, ensuring a glossy coat and robust health.

Despite the costs associated with such a regimen, Anmol’s owner, Gill, remains committed to the buffalo’s upkeep. However, the expenses once led him to sell Anmol's mother and sister. Remarkably, Anmol's mother was known for producing a record 25 liters of milk per day.
