Mayo GAA star Aidan O’Shea and his new wife are living it up in paradise, as they wowed with pictures from their scenic honeymoon. The couple tied the knot in August but waited a few months before heading off on their big adventure. The Mayo footballer and model celebrated their nuptials with a reception in the five-star Muckross Park Hotel , with a star studded guest list.
Now, after ringing in the new year Down Under and exploring Oz, the pair have jetted off the the Maldives. Kristin took to Instagram to share what they’d been up to for the ‘last 48hrs,’ and boy are we jealous. The newlyweds can be seen exploring idyllic landscapes, snorkeling in the crystal clear water, and taking in the top tourist attractions.
Fans and friends of the couple were quick to take to the comments, with many green with envy at the once-in-a-lifetime trip. ‘You can come home now,’ one friend joked. ‘You’ve honestly been on honeymoon for 10 years now it feels like xx,’ another teased.
‘I’m very peanut butter and jelly,’ a third penned. Aidan popped the question to Kristin last summer, getting down on one knee during a visit to Ashford Castle in his native county. Aidan and Kristin have been an item since 2017, having met on a night out in Dublin, he told RSVPLive.
The pair said ‘I do’ on Friday (August 9), amongst a gathering of their closest family and friends. Eager to get away after the fun-filled weekend, the newlyweds kept it Kerry-based and embarked on a relaxi.
