The event, which began on July 12 and spanned three days, was instrumental in showcasing the diverse tourism opportunities Mauritius has to offer to the travel trade community of East India.

Mr. Arvind Bundhun, Director of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA), reflecting on the insights gained during the event, stated, “The East Indian region holds a great promise for destination Mauritus in terms of potential tourists. It is brimming with the kind of travelers that Mauritius expertly caters to, whether as a family-friendly getaway, a romantic destination or the celebration segment.

Engaging with regional tour operators, and travel agents at TTF 2024 Kolkata enabled us to discern the nuances of the market. It has equipped us with relevant understanding of local audiences, travel patterns and emerging trends which is ancillary to our tourism promotion strategy.” Mauritius, a secluded tropical paradise, captivates visitors with its enchanting beauty, further enhanced by a range of premium luxury hotels, resorts, and venues.

This makes it a sought-after destination for we.
