The outlet reported that he died from the “acute effects of ketamine.” The toxicology report, according to the outlet, indicated that Matthew took ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety less than two weeks before he died. The medical examiner reportedly concluded that the ketamine caused cardiovascular overstimulation and respiratory depression in the late actor.

According to E! News , who obtained the certificate, Matthew’s cause of death is still “deferred.” The certificate reveals he died on October 28 at 4:17 p.m.
