A resurfaced clip showed the late Matthew Perry joining Oasis on stage on Saturday Night Live. The Friends actor, 54, was found dead in a hot tub at his California home in October 2023. Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office attributed Perry's death to the acute effects of ketamine.

Decades before his death, the 17 Again actor was seen on stage with Liam and Noel Gallagher. In October 1997, they attempted to crack the US with an SNL appearance. Matthew was the host for the night and Oasis played a few of their songs including Don't Go Away, Some Might Say and Acquiese.

In the video, a smiling Matthew told the audience: "And once again, Oasis." Meanwhile, fans have been begging for a reunion for years and it looks like it could finally be happening as it was recently reported that the long-feuding brothers are headlining at Glastonbury Festival and playing a host of massive gigs in London and Manchester next year. The Mirror also recently revealed that the brothers have been talking again.

It is said that an official announcement confirming the details is expected in the next couple of weeks. It may even be rushed out after Liam started dropping hints on ‘X’ on Sunday. The singer said on Sunday morning: "I never did like that word FORMER" on X, formerly Twitter , which is thought to refer to him often being labelled as the 'former Oasis singer'.

He also responded to a version of the story about the possible reunion, writing: " See you at the front." Former Oasis guit.
