Paramount Network’s has lassoed another big name: veteran Matthew Fox is set to lead opposite Michelle Pfeiffer in Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming series set in the universe, TVLine has confirmed. Fox will play Paul, a self-reliant bachelor who loves the outdoors. , meanwhile, plays the mother of two daughters, Paige and Abigail.

Per the network, the series is “a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.” The actor joins Patrick J. Adams ( ), Beau Garrett ( ), Amiah Miller ( ) and relative newcomer Elle Chapman.

’s Final Episodes: Everything We Know So Far Adams will play Russell McIntosh, a young investment banker who has followed the life path set before him from the start, while Garrett will portray Abigail Reese, a resilient and sardonic New Yorker who is a recently divorced mother of two. Chapman co-stars as Paige McIntosh, a somewhat self-centered woman who indulges in a luxurious New York lifestyle provided by her parents and investment banker husband (Adams).
