Matt Damon and his family were among holiday-goers who had to be evacuated from a bar following a bomb scare. The Hollywood star is enjoying a lavish trip to Mykonos in Greece with his wife Luciana Barroso with the pair enjoying a Saturday night out when the Mykonos Police Sub-Directorate immediately acted on an anonymous email received at 11:00pm, which falsely claimed that explosive devices were in four beach bars across the popular holiday resort. Matt and his family were in the third venue as an estimated 4,000 people were guided to the exits by bar owners, according to MailOnline .

Footage filmed at the scene and posted on social media showed Matt, 53, looking relaxed as he obeyed the orders from staff and made his way outside. One bar owner told Greek outlet Protothema: "Upon receiving notification from the police, we promptly reduced the music and calmly guided our guests to safety. It was a challenging situation, but we managed to maintain order.

" Police officials subsequently confirmed that the threats had been a hoax. Matt is holidaying in Greece with Luciana and their four daughters, Alexia, 25, Isabella, 18, Gia, 15, and Stella, 13. Alexia was just four years old when Matt met her mother in a Miami nightclub in 2003.
