Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has expanded its lineup in India with the launch of the second-gen GranTurismo in India. The grand tourer is available in two petrol variants : the Modena , priced at Rs 2.72 crore, and the high-performance Trofeo , priced at Rs 2.

90 crore. Both prices are ex-showroom. An all-electric version, the GranTurismo Folgore , is slated for launch in India in 2025.

Speaking of the design, the new Granturismo features a bold front fascia featuring vertical headlamps that also house the L-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamps. Besides that it has the iconic grille of the brand featuring the carmaker’s emblem in the centre. At the rear, the GranTurismo gets quad exhaust outlets and slim LED tail lights.

Maserati Granturismo: Modena and Trofeo variant engines The Modena and Trofeo variants share the same 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo petrol engine but offer different power outputs. The Modena belts out 490 hp and 600 Nm of torque.

It can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 3.9 seconds. On the other hand, the Trofeo version ramps up the performance to 550 hp and 650 Nm, cutting down the 0-100 kmph sprint to just 3.

5 seconds. Both models come equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD) configuration as standard.
