Mary Shelly , who created Frankenstein in her 1818 novel of that name, would be perplexed.
Based on Boris Karloff’s portrayal of the monster in a series of 1930s movies, the suave green guy doesn’t look much like someone who’s been thrown together from stolen body parts.
