Tuesday, August 20, 2024 The Marvel universe is set to expand further as Hong Kong Disneyland announces an all-new attraction and area expansion, revealed by Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California. This addition will mark the third Marvel-themed experience at the park, promising more thrills for superhero fans. Located in an extended zone of Tomorrowland, the new Marvel area will feature an attraction that follows Spider-Man, Peter Parker, in his latest adventure as a Stark Industries intern.
Guests will be drawn into the action as a villain emerges, threatening the safety of visitors and the technology that Parker is showcasing. The immersive experience invites guests to join Spider-Man in his fight to save the day. In addition to the attraction, the new Marvel area will include pavilions at the Stark Expo, with the Avengers taking center stage.
Fans can also look forward to fresh entertainment, shopping, and dining options, making it a must-visit destination for Marvel enthusiasts. This expansion continues Hong Kong Disneyland’s role as the epicenter of Marvel Super Heroes in Asia. The journey began with the Iron Man Experience in 2017, followed by Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! in 2019, both exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland.
These attractions, along with seasonal Marvel events and shows, have drawn visitors from around the globe, cementing the park’s status as a key location for Marvel-themed ad.
