Marvel TV chief Brad Winderbaum has been giving interviews this week following Marvel’s D23 presentation last weekend in Brazil. First up he spoke with and says that he can see the upcoming “Daredevil: Born Again” going for “multiple seasons” – certainly beyond the two ordered so far. He also says the level of violence in the series is high: “It is one of the most violent things we’ve put on screen, but it’s in service of a greater tragedy that is really compelling.

” He goes on to hype it up, saying: “I’m so excited for that show. I actually don’t think the audience is ready for this show. It goes really deep into these characters.

” He also confirms there are plans for Daredevil in the MCU outside of his series. It’s a similar story for Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher with his role in “Daredevil: Born Again” being just the start, Winderbaum saying: “You know he is he’s so great in that role and I can’t wait for you to see him on screen in this series and there’s absolutely a future for him in the MCU afterwards.” Asked if there’s any other Defenders he’d like to see in the MCU, he quickly responded: “Oh, wow.

I mean, Jessica Jones.” Another show he teased is the upcoming “Wonder Man” series which will he says will run for eight episodes and serves as an odd couple-style two-hander with Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley).
