Marvel Studios has done it again! On Monday, they officially released the teaser trailer and poster for their upcoming film, Thunderbolts, leaving fans buzzing with excitement. This new project brings a fresh perspective to the superhero genre, giving the spotlight to a team of misfits, including the troubled assassin Yelena Belova, played by Florence Pugh. The crew, full of characters that aren’t your typical heroes, is set to shake things up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Thunderbolts follows a group of reformed supervillains who are pulled together by the US government for special missions. The cast is packed with familiar faces, including Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Hannah John-Kamen and Wyatt Russell. The trailer opens with Yelena Belova sitting down with David Harbour’s Alexei Shostakov, also known as Red Guardian.

Belova starts the conversation with a heavy question, “You feel fulfilled?" Harbour’s character responds, “Why do you ask this? What brings you here?" It’s clear from the start that Yelena is dealing with some inner struggles, setting the tone for the emotional depth of the film. Soon after, Yelena’s voiceover continues, giving a glimpse into her state of mind. “There is something wrong with me.

.. An emptiness.

.. I’m just drifting.

.. And I don’t have a purpose," she confesses.

The trailer, which runs for over three minutes, gradually introduces the rest of the Thunderbolts team. We see glimps.
