Martine McCutcheon returned to Instagram with a dig at her husband after announcing their split. The Love Actually and EastEnders star, 48, shared a telling clip on Instagram just a day after revealing her husband Jack McManus, 40, wanted to end their marriage after 18 years. She wrote: "After much thought and consideration, Jack has decided it's best for us to separate after 18 years together and I accept his decision.
" Martine went on to say how the now estranged couple's number one priority will always be their son, Rafferty, nine. Returning to social media a day later, Martine appeared to take a dig at singer-songwriter Jack. She shared a clip from author and motivational speaker Alex Elle, alongside the caption: "I love this lady.
..soothing, gentle voice, softly reminding us of our own strength, value, love and truth worth.
" In the clip, Alex said: "The older I get, the less time I have for people who are unsure about me. I need people in my life who are certain. People who want to be there.
People who make space for me to show up fully like I make space for them to do the same. We all deserve to have people in our lives who want to be in connection with us, who want to share space who feel good doing so." The writer added: "In this season of my life I am choosing people who choose me.
I am choosing people who are sure about me. I am choosing people who don't have to second guess whether I belong or not." It comes after Jack broke his silence following Martine's announce.
