Martine McCutcheon has seemingly taken ta swipe at her ex-husband Jack McManus. Taking to her social media on Tuesday, the EastEnders actress, who initially announced the pair's split on her Instagram account, admitted she "didn't have the year I wanted". The 48-year-old, who said it was Jack's decision to part ways, opened up on her Story.

Appearing to reference their break-up in a new update, she re-shared a quote to her followers which read: "August 27th, 2024, I didn't have the year I wanted, I had the year I needed. " It's not the first time Martine appeared to refer to the former couple's split. She sparked curiosity with what appeared to be another veiled message in the wake of her split from McManus. The star took to Instagram to share snapshots with her son Rafferty, enjoying the last rays of summer on their holiday.

The mother-son pair were all smiles as they posed in Marbella. Martine captioned her post: "Love these pics of us on our last night in Marbella." On her Instagram story, she shared a poignant quote from Selfcare Withwall's account stating: "Be proud of yourself for surviving the silent battles no one knows about.

" This post-holiday update follows Martine's announcement. "After much thought and consideration, Jack has decided it's best for us to separate after 18 years together and I accept his decision. She added: "We are bo.
