"Cydney Lewis, a Chicago-based artist with a multidisciplinary background, including a BS in Architecture from the University of Illinois and a background in film and ballet, is inspired to imagine multidimensional landscapes created from everyday objects she feels reflect the world we live in," the Miller Beach Arts and Creative District said in a press release. "Printed materials and imagery document our existence, while discarded objects reveal our values, claims Lewis. She discovers their stories, beauty, and endless adaptation through drawing, collage, sculpture, and installation assembled around these materials.
