It's a nine-day festival celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion." On Wednesday, a large number of devotees, especially women, thronged markets like Civil Lines, Katra, Chowk, Sulemsarai, and Rajapur, and purchased puja items. Meanwhile, police authorities have also chalked out a security plan for prominent temples, and additional police pickets are being assigned duties.
